Armor has the the following characteristics: Cost, Weight, armor bonus, SR, Max Dex
Cost, Weight, and Max Dex act exactly the same way they do normally.
Armor bonus is added to you AC.
SR is the armor's shield rating. Once at the end of each of your rounds you can take a swift action to add 5 of you SR back. If SR is ever reduced to 0 your shields deactivate and do not restore untill you take 3 swift actions to reactivate your shields.
Weapon over heating
Weapons has the the following characteristics: Cost, Weight, Damage, Crit, OS, Special Qualities
Cost, Weight, Damage and crit act exactly the same way they do normally.
OS or overheating shots is the number of shots you can take per a round till a gun gets heated. Once a gun becomes heated its fumble rating increases by 5. This lasts till you spend a full round not firing. If you fumble while your gun is heated the gun over heats for 2 rounds during which you cannot fire it.
